I see counseling as a collaborative and dynamic process in which
you and I come to understand and trust one another, work as a
team to explore and define the present problem, situations, and
concerns, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in
a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I focus on
child and adolescent clients with social and anger management
concerns, among other issues and concerns. Although it is my
preference to work with child and adolescent clients, I enjoy
working with adults throughout the life span.
I am currently working toward completion of my doctorate degree
with Mississippi College (MC). I began courses with MC in August
of 2017 and plan to complete this degree in August of 2019. With
MC, I am working to specialize in adolescent and young adult
suicide prevention and intervention.
In addition to being registered as a LPC in Louisiana, I hold an
Ancillary Certification as a Professional School Counselor in the
state of Louisiana (AN541893), a national certification with the
National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC816711), and I am
pursing a doctorate degree with Mississippi College for
professional counseling
